The fraudulent post, which has since been deleted, redirected users to a counterfeit website designed to mimic Curve’s legitimate platform, encouraging them to sign up for a nonexistent token distribution.

Founder Michael Egorov quickly addressed the breach via his personal account, confirming that only the X account was affected. This incident underscores ongoing security risks in crypto project communications, particularly on social media platforms frequently targeted for phishing scams.
